9 Edges Endurance 2010

The Nine Edges Endurances gives you the choice of whether to hike, run, climb or bike the route.
It is a traverse from Fairholmes to the Robin Hood pub near Baslow - about 20 miles for hikers, runners and climbers, 32 miles for mountain bikers!!!! Climbers also climb a route of their choice on each of the 9 gritstone edges. It is over some rough moorland and some navigational ability is required.
Transport back to the start is provided (free). T-shirt and pint (or soft drink) also included in the entry fee. Light refreshments are available during and at the end of the route. It is optional to raise sponsorship for Edale Mountain Rescue Team.
2010 will be this event's fifth year, and we hope it will be even bigger and better than previous years. Whilst the distance and terrain may be daunting, it is a fun and friendly day out.
