Welcome. Edale Mountain Rescue Team (EMRT) operates in the Peak District National Park in Derbshire and is one of the busiest Mountain Rescue Teams in the UK. In 2009 team members were involved in 97 incidents throughout our operational area which covers parts of Derbyshire and South Yorkshire. We are a registered charity, number 512559

I need Mountain Rescue!
If you need help from Mountain Rescue:
- Get to the nearest telephone and DIAL 999
- Ask for the "Police and Mountain Rescue"
- Give the operator the Exact Location of the incident, the Nature of any injuries, the number of casualties, and your Phone Number. Stay near the telephone unless instructed otherwise.
